Start of Postdoc Research Program

Excited to share that I’ve started my postdoctoral research at the University of Sao Paulo (USP)! 🎉
⭐I’ll be working with Prof. Andre Beck in the Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos, USP, focusing on the risk-based integrated structural design of structural systems considering fatigue-initiated progressive collapse where uncertainties in both technical and non-technical factors are explicitly considered.
📝This research builds on my previous work in reliability-based design optimization and structural system reliability, and I’m looking forward to expanding these methods to improve risk-based life cycle assessment of fatigue prone structures.
